BTS, the popular South Korean Kpop group, has once again run out of statuettes at the most recent GRAMMY Awards, which saw Harry Styles, Lizzo, Adele and Bad Bunny in the spotlight. However, the Kpop septet has once again walked away empty-handed, creating an all-time record.
The GRAMMYs did it again, BTS is left with 0 wins in the most recent ceremony and the ARMY is not happy at all, as it is three consecutive years where the group has been ignored by the recording academy.
The group was nominated in the categories of ‘Best Music Video‘ for Yet To Come and ‘Best Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocalist‘ for their collaboration ‘My Universe‘ with Coldplay. However, Bangtan came up short and the winners were the video for Taylor Swift‘s ‘All to Well‘, and Sam Smith and Kim Petras‘ Smash-Hit ‘Unholy‘.

With this, BTS made history, as it is the first time a musical act has lost the Best Vocal Performance by Duo or Group with Vocalist category for three consecutive years, a record that ARMY never wished for.
Fans of the group are not very happy with the result, and claim that the academy does not want to award the septet because of the possible xenophobia they feel against the members.
