Miss Universe 2022 could lose crown for non-compliance

R’Bonney Gabriel, Miss USA and new Miss Universe 2022, has raised the alarm with some controversial statements in the media, as the beauty queen declared that she has a problem with the Miss Universe organization because she does not want to give up her profession, but her duties as the new ruler of beauty prevent her from doing so in a notorious way.

When a beauty queen of a certain country is chosen as Miss Universe, a number of duties come upon her that she must effectively fulfill. Otherwise, the organization might decide to dismiss her, thus depriving her of her official title.

And this is exactly what R’Bonney is facing, who confessed in a recent podcast interview that she has a problem with the organization because she wants to continue practicing her profession and not just fulfill her duties as Miss Universe.

The 28-year-old beauty queen expressed her desire to be able to move her sewing workshop to her new apartment in New York City, where every winner lives for at least a year.

The American model could not come to an agreement with her new bosses, but maintains her stance of wanting to continue her profession no matter what.

R’Bonney Gabriel’s victory as the new Miss Universe 2022 was controversial, as several media outlets claimed that her triumph was based on some insider deals with the old and new owners of the organization, which is headed by transgender mogul Anne Jakrajutatip.
