Even though their schedules are full of activities, study sessions and concerts, BTS members like to relax by watching K-Dramas, among other activities, when they have some free time.

The guys have admitted on different occasions that there is nothing better than relaxing on the couch watching TV, so here you can find out what some of their recommendations are.

Crash Landing on You

Billionaire heiress Yoon Se-ri accidentally arrives in North Korea, where she comes face to face with Captain Ri Jeong-Hyeok, a North Korean officer. As she struggles to find her way home, she discovers new friendships and love.

BTS rapper J-Hope revealed during a VLive that he enjoyed how the love story unfolded in the Korean novel, and called it emotional. He also revealed that he hopes to live a similar experience in his life.

Twenty-Five Twenty-One

The K-drama set in the year 1998, follows Na Hee Do, an 18-year-old fencing enthusiast. On the other hand, Baek Yi Jin faces a financial loss that hits his family, and gets a part-time job that brings them together. The two discover love and fulfillment together.

Jungkook shared with his fans that he was watching the acclaimed Korean series through an Instagram story.

Sky Castle

Four women living in the luxurious SKY Castle neighborhood raise their children like royalty while making sure their husbands stay on top of their professions. However, they each face their own challenges.

BTS leader RM talked to fans about his excitement before the finale of this series. Suga, also showed up as a fan of the drama and added that Namjoon did not allow him to watch it before him. Meanwhile, Jin also indicated that he was a fan of the show in the past.

Squid Game

456 players, each with a financial debt to pay off, must participate in a series of deadly children’s games in order to win a big cash prize.

Taehyung, of the K-Pop group, contributed to the excitement of the series upon its release on Netflix and dressed up as a guard for the drama during their Permission To Dance concert in Los Angeles in 2021.

Sweet Home

A tragedy leads Cha Hyun-Soo to leave his home and move into his own apartment. However, monsters begin to invade the city, trapping the people inside the building, who do what they can to protect themselves from the attack.

Kingdom

In the Joseon Dynasty, a king collapses due to smallpox and the Chief State Counselor, Cho Hak-Ju, decides to conceal his death until his daughter, has a son to prevent the illegitimate crown prince from ascending the throne. He gives the king a dose of resurrection that turns him into a monster at night which brings great chaos in the kingdom.

During an interaction with his fans, Jimin shared that he enjoyed watching this series and added that it had a creepy element.

Itaewon Class

Park Sae Ro-Yi, seeks revenge for her father’s death and seeks to overcome the obstacles that stand in her way. He is also torn between the love of his life, Oh Soo-ah and the woman who works alongside him, Jo Yi-seo.

Taehyung may have recommended this drama for different reasons. His close friend Park Seo-joon plays the lead role and the idol contributed to the OST with the song Sweet Night.

Business proposal

Shin Ha-ri agrees to go on an arranged date in place of her best friend Young-seo, hoping to be rejected. However, this plan falls through when Kang Tae-moo, her boss, decides to marry her to avoid going on any more dates. A series of amusing events arise as she struggles to hide her true identity.

In an Ask Me Anything post, BTS’ Golden Maknae said he was watching the acclaimed drama. Then, the series’ director took a screenshot of his revelation and posted it, adding, “Jungkook, I love you“.
