Ricky Martin’s nephew is left without lawyers after abuse lawsuit

More than 7 months after the legal dispute between Ricky Martin and his nephew Denis Yadiel, first for alleged domestic violence and then for an accusation of abuse against the singer.
The case followed its course, however, it recently came to light that the young man was left without legal representation, as his lawyers decided to resign, claiming that they have “irreconcilable differences” with his now ex-client.

It was on the show ‘El Gordo y La Flaca’, where the statement was released, where Denis Yadiel’s legal team said that the termination of the relationship was carried out by mutual agreement.

“We have irreconcilable differences, which prevent us from providing adequate representation as required by the canons of ethics that govern our profession,” the statement reads.

Although the lawyers did not elaborate on these alleged differences, Denis Yadiel Sanchez Martin is now left alone in the process and will have to find a new legal team to face the counterclaim that his uncle filed against him for damages against his image.

Last July, the singer was sued by his nephew, Dennis Yadiel Sanchez, for domestic violence, and even had a restraining order lifted. Ricky Martin’s nephew claimed that he feared for his safety because the artist had refused to accept his decision to end a romantic relationship.

Subsequently, Ricky Martin’s legal defense, pointed out in a statement that the young Dennis Yadiel was going through mental health problems, which would have led him to try to “tarnish the reputation” of his uncle.
