A new biopic about the life and career of Michael Jackson is in production. The feature film titled “Michael” is directed by Antoine Fuqua and will star the King of Pop’s nephew, Jaafar Jackson.
The son of Jermaine Jackson, Michael’s third oldest brother, he inherited the family’s talents and singing. Jaafar was confirmed in the role of the famous singer in the movie by the director of the feature film himself. In a post on social media, Fuqua wrote:

The director shared the news alongside a photo of Jaafar in rehearsals for the highly anticipated film. The young man also shared the photo and wrote:
“I am humbled and honored to bring my Uncle Michael’s story to life. To all the fans around the world, I will see you all soon“.

The “Michael” movie will not begin filming until later this year 2023 and is expected to tackle much of the King of Pop’s life story and career.
