The most recent news of the death of the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll’s daughter Lisa Marie Presley shocked everyone but now what is making waves is the fight over the will between Priscilla Presley and her granddaughter Riley Keough.
Apparently, the will has an amendment that would make Lisa Marie Presley’s daughter Riley the universal administrator of her deceased mother’s estate, however, her grandmother Priscilla Presley claims she was not notified and points out that it would have irregularities.
Now, Priscilla has filed legal documents to ask a judge to annul the amendment, this has taken a great controversy among Lisa Marie Presley’s relatives, because, while Riley argues that the amendment is valid, her grandmother says it is not legal.
Apparently, it originally stated that Priscilla was named the trustee of the trust, but Riley discovered an amendment that named her as trustee, replacing Priscilla Presley’s place.
Apparently, Lisa Marie Presley’s will states in the amendment that Riley and her brother Benjamin were trustees of the trust, but Benjamin died a few years ago by suicide, leaving Riley as universal trustee.
Given that Lisa Marie’s mother has already filed a challenge to the amendment with the Superior Court judge in Los Angeles, California, a possible dispute between her and her granddaughter over the recently deceased’s fortune could be unleashed.
