After resignation, Miss Universe crowns new Miss USA

After the winner of Miss Universe 2022, R’Bonney Gabriel shocked the world by announcing that she was stepping down as Miss United States, in order to focus on her work as Miss Universe, she crowned her replacement as Miss USA.

Recently the ceremony was held where R’Bonney Gabriel handed the crown to Miss Northern Carolina, model Morgan Romano, who came in second place in the national beauty pageant and who will now serve as Miss USA.

The decision of Miss Universe 2022 took everyone by surprise, but quickly revealed details of who would be the understudy, 25 year old Morgan Romano is a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Carolina.

Morgan Romano is a model whose passion is science and education, technology focused on children and ballet, plus she describes herself as a big fan of Walt Disney World, a place she claims to have visited at least 20 times.

It is worth mentioning that according to some images shared by Morgan Roman herself, it can be seen that the Miss Universe did the honors, before crowning her as her alternate. Images that she shared accompanied by a brief text.

“With a heart full of gratitude. I am from you, United States,” she wrote in one of her publications, while in her Instagram stories she was accompanied by her former pageant companions.
