The separation between Shakira and the former soccer player was marked by moments of dispute and controversy, for the infidelity committed by Pique towards the artist, and for the disagreement over the custody of the two children of the former couple.

Although with the passing months of time after their 12-year relationship many unexpected revelations have emerged, the singer’s fans did not expect to see her endure abuse from her former mother-in-law as revealed in a video.
