Many things have happened since the death of Queen Elizabeth II, as now, the heir to the throne is Charles III. And finally, after many months of intrigue and waiting, Buckingham Palace has revealed the full program of one of the most anticipated events in the UK this 2023.
Apparently, it has been announced by The Crown that it will be an epic and historic event that will provide ‘the opportunity for people to come together’ and will reflect King Charles III‘s desire to be ‘king of the people’.
The celebration will last for 3 days starting on May 6 with London as the venue, but the other festivities will be spread throughout the country.
The details provided by the official residence inform that on Saturday the events will begin with the ‘King’s Procession’, in which King Charles III and his wife Camilla will arrive at Westminster Abbey, in the center of the British capital.
An Archbishop of Canterbury will officiate at a service where Charles will receive the crown and symbols of his reign as successor to Queen Elizabeth II. Charles and Camilla will return to Buckingham Palace in the coronation procession and greet citizens gathered in the streets from the balcony of their London residence.
They will reportedly be accompanied by more royal members, but their presence has not yet been confirmed.
