BLACKPINK the world’s biggest K-Pop female group and it is evident that with their huge success, they get a lot of interest from career management companies. Since last year, rumors intensified that the band is in talks to leave YG Entertainment once their contract expires in August.
Recently, it was revealed that Lisa, a member of the group, is already receiving proposals such as US$81 million to leave her agency. According to the article published by the site M News Nate on Monday, January 23rd, the stakes are high regarding the girls’ contract renewal with their company, which is doing everything possible to keep BLACKPINK under its wing.
Experts in the field say that, in order to continue representing the group, the producer must give a good advance to its members. It is also possible that the group will stay with YG as they own the ‘BLACKPINK’ brand, and, upon breaking the contract, it is not known how this concession would be presented.
