NewJeans’ new album is already in the works according to their label

NewJeans is the group everybody is talking about in the Kpop industry right now, and it looks like they will continue being the talk of the town for another while.

The girl group debuted august 1st of 2022, and since then, they have not had a song perform poorly, as a matter of fact, they had two of the biggest songs of the year, and it only took them 5 months to achieve that. The two songs that became instant hits are “Hype Boy” and “Attention”. Considering they are the newest group, taking two of the biggest songs in the genre, is pretty impressive.

Also, they are now considered the biggest group of their generation, just 6 months after the release of their first song, outperforming other huge new groups such as IVE, aespa and LE SSERAFIM, as well as older ones such as TWICE and BLACKPINK.

The new powerhouse group released their latest single, “Ditto” on December 19th of last year, and it’s having an even better performance on the charts than their songs from last year, which is a lot to say considering the huge success those songs were.

They released another single, “OMG”, which has had the same fate as all the other NewJeans’ songs: unprecedent success. Well, their album is predicted to be one of, if not the biggest, Kpop girl group album of 2023, and it’s already in the making!

According to their record label and managing team, ADOR, and it’s head in charge, Min Hee Jin, the group is already giving shape to their next project, and even though they mentioned that it would be an album, they did not confirm the amount of songs, so it could be either, their second EP or their first full-length album. They also did not share details about the schedule, but considering it’s been five months, it’s most likely to be released very soon.
