Taeyang invited BTS’ Jimin to a private dinner but ended up disappointed

Currently Taeyang and BTS’ Jimin are really close friends, but to get to this point, many things happened and even Taeyang had several disappointments while trying to have a private meeting with Jimin. During the promotions of their collaborative track “VIBE,” the former YG made the revelation.

It all started when he was on a flight with Teddy Park, who told him that it would be amazing if they could get a collaboration with Jimin of BTS, to which Taeyang immediately accepted the idea and immediately got in touch with Park Jimin.

That’s how through a group chat, they agreed to have a private dinner to discuss the details of the song, but upon arriving at the restaurant, Taeyang saw that instead of Jimin from BTS there was someone else, and upon confronting him, he realized that the person was also named Jimin and it was all a confusion,
although he couldn’t help but feel disappointed.

For several weeks, Taeyang was talking to Jimin, but not the one from BTS. The person turned out to be Taeyang’s fan and Taeyang accompanied the person during the evening. Some time later, Taeyang was finally able to communicate with Park Jimin of BTS, and now they have an amazing collaboration.
