Shakira and Bizarrap break all-time record with new collaboration

On the heels of the big Latin YouTube premiere, Shakira and Bizarrap make history with the partnership “Music Session #53“, released Wednesday, January 11th. Everything points to the fact that the public more than approved of the collaboration, giving new achievements to the Argentine producer and the Colombian singer.

The song has achieved an unprecedented feat on Friday, January 13th, reaching the top of Spotify Global, which gathers the most played songs worldwide. In the first 24 hours, the song counted more than 14.3 million plays, making it the biggest Latin premiere in history on the platform.

The track “Music Session #53” is a hit in several countries, in the United States, the track ranked in the top 10, at number 6. In Argentina, the song took 1st place, as well as in Colombia, the singer’s homeland, and in Spain.

It also entered the Top 5 of the biggest debuts in spotify’s history, at 5th place.

Meanwhile, the producer Bizarrap, also achieved an unprecedented feat, becoming the first Argentine artist to release a direct track in the first position of the list in history.
