Hyein called ‘genius’ after news that she is the reason for NewJeans’ success

NewJeans has undoubtedly arrived on the KPOP scene to make a difference, as following the advice of Steve Jobs’ popular phrase, Min Hee Jin, the group’s creator, managed to catapult the 5 girls to the top of the charts by breaking incredible records.

In one of those meetings, Hyein (the youngest member of the group), came up with the idea that instead of following the classic line when a KPOP group debuts, they would actually come as a surprise without any kind of teaser.

Hyein said that in the KPOP scene, it was known that a new girl group would debut under a subsidiary of HYBE, and moreover, the group’s manager was none other than Min Hee Jin. Hyein thought that was enough, so they listened to her and debuted in a surprise way.
