Casio reportedly responded to Shakira’s aggressions

The new song by Shakira, the Colombian singer who dedicated many verses to her ex-husband, the Spanish player Gerard Piqué, has been a success not only for the very direct hints she throws to the father of her children and of course, to his girlfriend, the beautiful young Clara Chia, but also for putting marks in a derogatory way.

When the lyrics were made public, people quickly defended Clara Chia and the brands, mentioning that one, Clara should not be objectified and two, the comparison between brands is not wise.

“You traded a Rolex for a Casio.”
It was one of the most iconic moments of the song.

When she compared Casio with Rolex it caused a big scandal, since Rolex is the most luxurious and prestigious Swiss watchmaker, while Casio is a very popular brand due to its quality and price that is much more accessible and affordable to the public.

The Colombian´s tirade against Piqué and his partner has left a nation of memes that show the creativity of the audience, so much so that apparently fake  accounts have quickly replied with mockery of the Colombian’s comments.

Doubt came to the audience when fake accounts commented on the song, but the real surprise was when its Education page commented on it, being an official account.

Today we got quite a few notifications for a mention of CASIO in a song ?.
CASIO (watches and keyboards) and (calculators) are from and for life ?.

With that little sentence, the brand quickly gave his opinion and whose side he is on in this discussion.
