After Jeremy Renner suffered a serious accident with a snowplow, the Nevada sheriff has spoken out about it and revealed that the incident happened when the actor was trying to pull a car out of the snow.
Recently, at a press conference, the authority explained that Jeremy Renner was helping to remove the vehicle of a man who was stranded in the snow at the time of the incident.
“Mr. Renner went to retrieve his Pistenbully or Snowcat; an extremely large snow removal equipment weighing at least 14,330 pounds, in an effort to start a vehicle,” he said.
As the actor was on his way to speak to a family member, the machine began moving on its own and, in an attempt to stop it, Renner ran into the driver’s seat, getting run over in the process.
“At this point, it is observed that the snowplow began to roll. In an effort to stop the Pistenbully, Mr. Renner attempts to get back into the driver’s seat. According to our investigation, it is at this point that Mr. Renner is run over by the Pistenbully,” he stated.
Finally, he pointed out that the event was a “tragic accident” and Jeremy Renner is stable: “At this point in the investigation, we do not believe Mr. Renner suffered any injury and we believe it was a tragic accident,” he concluded.
