Two big and talented K-Pop idols will team up in a new music project to be released next week.
The Black Label has announced that Big Bang‘s Taeyang will release the single “Vibe“, and will feature a collaboration with BTS‘ Jimin.
The news was announced via Taeyang’s Twitter on Tuesday night, January 3th. The news came accompanied by an image of the duo, in what appears to be the song’s music video, in which they appear posing in a room illuminated by a ring of yellow light.

The track titled “Vibe” will be Taeyang’s first solo release since their third album, “White Night” in 2017. But moreover, the song marks Jimin’s first official solo release since BTS announced their hiatus to allow the members to focus on their solo works.

Jimin will be the latest BTS member to release a solo project since the group’s announcement. The song will come shortly after RM‘s solo projects with “Indigo” and Jungkook‘s single “Dreamers” part of the World Cup in Qatar 2022.
The collaborative single by Taeyang and Jimin is scheduled for release next Friday, January 13th. Recalling that the BTS star previously released solo singles “Lie“, “Filter“, “Promise“, “With You” and more.
