Jeremy Renner in critical condition following snowplow accident

Actor Jeremy Renner, who plays Hawkeye in the Marvel movies, is in “critical but stable” condition after suffering an accident while clearing snow over the weekend. The famous actor had to be rushed by helicopter to the hospital, according to his representative.

“His family is with him and he is receiving excellent care“, his representative said.

The place where Renner suffered the accident has not been disclosed, but it is known that the actor has a property located near Lake Tahoe in Nevada, one of the regions most affected by the winter storm that has left more than 35,000 homes in the area without electricity.

According to media reports, Renner suffered the accident while he was using a snowplow to clear snow from around his home. After nearly five feet of snow fell in the area on New Year’s Eve, in a new winter storm.

“Upon arrival, officers coordinated with the Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District and REMSA Health to arrange for Renner’s medical transport via care flight to a local area hospital“, Public Information Officer Kristin Vietti told The Hollywood Reporter.

The Marvel actor is a lover of heavy vehicles, owning several snowplows that he uses on his ranch to clear his private driveways and area roads.
