iKON members leave YG entertainment

YG Entertainment Inc is a South Korean who operates as a record label, talent agency, music production company, event management and concert production company, and music publishing house.

The agency is known worldwide for having great talents in the Kpop industry such as Wheesung, Epik High, 1TYM, Gummy, Seven, Minzy, Park Bom, 2NE1, Nam Tae-hyun, Lee Jong-suk, Psy, Seungri, B.I, One, One, CL, Lee Hi, Jinusean, Sandara Park, T.O.P, Daesung & iKon.

iKon is a South Korean band formed in 2015 consisting of Bobby, Jinhwan, Junhoe, Yunhyeong, Donghyuk and Chanwoo which intends to become Korea’s biggest music icon.

Recently YG Entertainment announced that IKON will no longer be part of the company after working together for more than 7 years.

We would like to announce that after a long and careful discussion with iKON (), we have all mutually agreed to end the group’s exclusive contract with respect to one another’s opinions.

We would like to express sincere appreciation to iKON for being with us as YG artists. YG Entertainment will always look forward to the members’ activities in diverse fields and wish the best for them in the future.

Also, we would like to deeply thank all iKONIC for accompany iKON on their journey. Please continue to send the iKON members your warm attention and support, as they are about to start a new phase of their journey.

It is not currently known what will happen to the band or its members.
