In South Korea, every month the Korean Business Research Institute conducts a music market research to find out which musical acts have the best brand reputation. This study is carried out with an analysis of different aspects.
Among which are the media coverage achieved by the artists, interaction, awareness indexes generated in society and most importantly, the participation of consumers when buying their products.

During this past month, BTS closes the year as the Korean music act with the best brand reputation index. Solo artist Lim Young Woong was the big surprise at the end of the year with an increase of more than 50% in brand reputation and taking second place.
But the real surprise was Rookie group NewJeans, who have become the first female group to beat and surpass BLACKPINK in this ranking, taking third place. BLACKPINK although now they are not the female group with the best brand reputation, they remained in fourth place, you can see the full ranking below:
