Kim Namjoon started in the music scene as an underground rapper and hip hop artist. But now, he is known for being the leader of the KPOP group, the idol confessed:
“In my journey with BTS, I drifted away from that world and was tormented by the thought that the people I liked, and the people who enjoyed the same music as me, no longer had love for me. I constantly wonder if I made the right decision by joining the boyband. () BTS has been treated as an outsider in the Korean Hip-Hop community, it stresses me out.”
The “Moonchild” performer then confessed that even though the Korean Hip Hop community doesn’t take him seriously, he still feels fulfilled because he loves making music. “I decided to stop thinking about the road I didn’t travel, and started thinking more about what I inevitably became, as well as accepting a better version of me,” he finished.
