Colombian singer Shakira will not be able to carry out the plans she had planned for her move to Miami, the place she chose as her new home and where she had planned to go with her two sons.
Let’s remember that recently the singer declared that 2022 has been one of the most complicated years she remembers.
Although the star had already reached an agreement with the player Gerard Piqué, ex-partner and father of her two children, now new problems have arisen that would prevent her from leaving Spain on January 8, 2023, causing her great frustration.
According to what Mamarazzis podcast has published, the ‘Te Felicito’ singer is waiting for her children’s agreement to be validated in the United States by a judge, since without this requirement the move of her children would be illegal and we are sure she does not want to go through more problems of this type.
However, the big problem is that this process will last, according to the media, “between two and four months”. And for shorter words, Shakira’s move would not take place in the first days of January 2023, as it was her intention to start the year.
These legal procedures take time and others not so long, but in Shakira’s case, there are two children involved, and the justice system in the United States usually has longer and more rigorous protocols when there are minors who are going to migrate to its territory.
Shakira will have to be patient, in the end, the most important thing, which was to reach an agreement with her ex-partner, has already been achieved. The star will have to arrange all these formalities so that she can fulfill her desire to leave Spain, a place that for sure, at the moment is meaning a memory that she does not want to reach with herself.
