BTS‘ J-Hope returns to Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, but this time to sing solo. Live from New York’s Time Square, the popular rapper will welcome the New Year 2023 in style by performing at this traditional and long-awaited party after living a 2022 full of successes.
His participation in the line up of the renowned American event was announced last Thursday, December 15th, shortly after the farewell to Jin who enlisted in military service.
In mid-July, the South Korean artist made his solo debut with “Jack in the box“. Two weeks later he celebrated the release of the album with a concert at Lollapalooza 2022, one of the most important music festivals in the United States.

In addition, he closed the Mnet Asian Music Awards and took multiple awards from the event. Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2023 will become the second big-name American stage to feature J-Hope.

The event will also count with the participation of Duran Duran, the R&B and pop group New Edition and the American singer-songwriter Jax. TXT is also part of the concert line up, but their number will be at Disneyland.
However, J-Hope will not be performing the songs from “Jack in the box”. His setlist at this event will include “= (equal sing)“, “Chicken noodle soup” and “Butter (Holiday remix)“. The event will be broadcast live on the ABC signal in the United States.
