Wednesday actresses Jenna Ortega and Gwendoline Christie could be more than just friends

When it comes to the celebrity world, there is a lot going on behind the scenes, so there is often a sea of gossip that we never find out for sure. Even so, this doesn’t stop us, because the inner gossiper in us is activated when something out of place happens.

That’s exactly how our sixth sense was activated when we saw the friendship between Jenna Ortega and Gwendoline Christie, who participated in the hit series Wednesday as Wednesday Addams and Larissa Weems, respectively. Despite the fact that in the story created by Tim Burton, these two characters don’t necessarily get along, the two actresses knew how to separate themselves from their roles and give us an amazing chemistry.

However, many speculate that what these two co-stars have is not just friendly, as in several interviews they have been seen sharing telltale smiles and flirtatious glances. Others believe that they simply formed a strong bond as a result of their participation in the Netflix series, as behind-the-scenes photos had previously surfaced where they were seen being super affectionate.

Even so, the meeting that set off the alarms of the fans was the one that took place last October 8th in New York, during the Comic-Con. At this event we observed Jenna thanking Gwendoline for passing her the microphone, but the thanks was not just any thanks, but the 20-year-old actress was full of compliments for her “friend”, she said:

“Thank you very much, woman, my wife. I love you. Sorry, that might be disrespectful, but that’s the nickname I call her by. Anyway, she’s my wife anyway.”
