Jason Momoa has been fired from Aquaman for defending Amber Heard

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jason Momoa will not return to a new Aquaman movie due to a series of disagreements he had with the executives of the DC film. And it is that in the middle of the year, his co-star Amber Heard, had a legal process with her ex-husband, the also actor Johnny Depp.

And because of this, the directors of Aquaman had decided to fire the actress, but Jason Momoa came to her rescue. And is that the actor along with the director of the film, James Wan, managed to prevent the studio to eliminate the scenes of Amber Heard in the second film, although the minutes on screen of the actress were reduced considerably.

It is no secret that Hollywood studios do not like their actors with millionaire salaries to be involved in problems and much less when the opinion of the general public becomes negative, as this would result in a loss of revenue at the box office of the film.

And is that initially, Jason Momoa and Wan did not agree and forced the studio to leave Heard in the sequel of the film, this will result in a loss for the production company, since the general public has a really negative image of Amber Heard.

.

That is why, the directors decided to take the decision to fire Amber Heard for the next filming of the saga, and not only that, but according to The Hollywood Reporter, Jason Momoa was also fired for his stubborn attitudes in not following the studio’s rules.
