Jason Momoa and Amber Heard will no longer be acting in Aquaman

American actor Jason Momoa will stop playing his leading role in the popular Aquaman saga, news that has left his fans and followers around the world in shock.

This revelation also ties in with his co-star, controversial actress Amber Heard, who will also no longer be playing her role as ‘Mera’ in the saga.

Jason Momoa has announced that he will be stepping down as Aquaman and The Hollywood Reporter outlet in the US informed that the popular American actor might be done with the role of Arthur Curry after the release of the long-awaited sequel.

However, there are several sources that are claiming that Momoa would be a “pivotal figure” in the new plans for the DC Universe going forward. Two very contradictory pieces of information with what we currently have for context.

Despite the confusion at the moment, what seems to be clear is that it would not be in the Aquaman saga, even if he would continue appearing in the DCU.
