TXT‘s Soobin recently celebrated his 22nd birthday on Monday, December 5th, with a live broadcast to celebrate with MOA. The idol took the time to chat, read comments, and answer questions from fans.
One question specifically caught his attention and he was grateful someone brought it up. The question was about what limitations the group has regarding signing autographs or taking photos with fans when seeing the boys in public.
After the start of their first world tour, some lucky fans saw the group in public places, so videos of their outings circulated, where members could sometimes be seen apologizing while security personnel refused MOA’s photo requests.

Although many fans have assumed that the reason is privacy, Soobin revealed a deeper reason. The leader began by saying that he had always wanted to talk about it and that even he initially did not understand that prohibition.
He went on to reveal that one of the main concerns is someone posing as a fan and having malicious intent. The artist gave an example that someone might be friendly in a meeting with the idol, but then say that he is “bad” online, and people might believe him because of the photographic proof.
Soobin finally apologized to his fans for not being able to take pictures with them, however, he made it clear that all the group members are more than happy to sign autographs.
