HYBE under fire for constant mistreatment of BTS’ J-Hope

After the release of “Jack In The Box“, the long-awaited and acclaimed solo album by J-Hope from BTS, his fans have expressed their discontent towards HYBE for mistreating the idol, drawing the attention of Korean media such as TOPSTARNEWS, which shared an article listing the agency’s problems.

The main problem that caused the article was a situation that J-Hope experienced when he returned from Japan.

The idol reportedly lost his luggage at the airport and had to personally settle the matter without protection, which as one of the most famous Korean celebrities in the world, can be risky.

However, fans have more concerns about his agency’s treatment of J-Hope than what happened at the airport, which ARMY has been sharing in recent months, and many of them started when the idol announced the release of his album.

When the idol released his album, ARMY criticized the company’s adherence to their environmental policy, they only produced a platform version, without things like lyric sheets or even a CD, which considering the numerous album versions released by other artists, it seemed unfair.

Even when the album was released, it wasn’t available in big box stores in the US. Even though it was possible to buy it in Korea, many were upset with the presentation, a thin paper box with a QR code on it and it was tied with a simple elastic band.

For their part, many ARMYs shared their anger at the lack of promotion globally and on social media. Also, due to demands from fans to play their music on the radio, a DJ shared that he contacted HYBE to get the file for “MORE” and got no response.
