BLACKPINK was chosen by TIME magazine as ‘Artist of the Year‘ for 2022. The foursome became the second K-Pop artist to receive the title after BTS, chosen in 2018. In the magazine’s article, individuality and the solo careers of the members are pointed out as differentials of the South Korean phenomenon.
