Korean footballer who has stolen the hearts of all K-Pop fans

The duel between South Korea and Uruguay in Qatar 2022 has only one protagonist for fans of k-pop and k-dramas: Cho Gue Sung. After the group stage match on Thursday, November 24th, this Korean footballer caused a sensation and went viral on social networks thanks to his incredible physical appearance.

Proof of the young athlete’s reach are the millions of views that a video focused on his face is gaining on Twitter, as well as his exponential increase of followers on Instagram.

The footballer brought joy to the Korean national team that started 0-2 down in their match against Ghana. Cho Gue Sung equalized with a double in the second half. The final score was 3-2 in favor of Ghana.

Cho Gue Sung was born on January 25th, 1998 in Ansan, a city in Gyeonggi Province. According to Naver, he is 188 cm tall. Signed in 2020 by Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, the club for which he continues to play, he plays as a center forward for the South Korean national team.
