BLACKPINK makes YouTube history with “Kill This Love”
Since their first appearance in the entertainment world, they have been breaking record after record on all possible platforms, such as Spotify, Apple and now Youtube.
Recently, YG Entertainment, shared that BLACKPINK’s music video “Kill This Love,” surpassed 1.7 billion views on YouTube on November 25.

“Kill This Love” has now become the second music video of a K-pop group in history to reach the record, the first being “DDU-DU DDU-DU”. It is also the third K-pop music video to reach the 1.7 billion mark overall, following PSY’s “Gangnam Style” and BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU DDU-DU”.
In addition to being the first and so far the only K-pop group to have surpassed this number of views with a music video, BLACKPINK is now also the first Korean group to reach the record
