Chuu was kicked out of LOONA for ‘abuse of power’ with group members

The weekend got off to a tense start for fans of the group LOONA, as Chuu, one of the members, was kicked out for her bad behavior towards the other members. According to websites, the idol was accused of “abuse of power” by her agency, Blockberry Creative, this Friday, November 25.

In recent weeks, Chuu has gained prominence in the Korean press following several controversies over her recent behavior with members of her team. In June, rumors about a possible transfer of the singer to a new agency came to life, which was denied by Blockberry.

All rumors gained even more force when fans realized that Chuu no longer participated in concerts, in addition to appearing as a guest on radio and television programs. But between one speculation and another, Blockberry Creative announced this Friday that the singer had parted ways with the label and the LOONA group.

Hello. This is BlockBerry Creative.

We are posting this statement to let fans know that we have decided that Chuu will be removed from LOONA on November 25, 2022.

There was a lot of speculation surrounding Chuu last year, but neither we nor the LOONA members have issued any statements so as not to cause problems for the group’s growth or cause concern for fans.

Based on the LOONA members’ love for the team and consideration for their fans, they tried to show their feelings by putting their best effort into their performances and content, without talking about what is true or false.

However, we recently learned of Chuu’s tendencies of verbal abuse and abuse of power towards our team.

After an investigation, we found out the truth.

Our agency employees apologize and comfort the affected employees. We decided to take responsibility for this and remove Chuu from LOONA.

We would like to officially apologize to the team members who were seriously injured by this and we will do our best to allow them to heal and focus on treatment and then return to their normal lives.

We would like to apologize to the fans who have loved and supported LOONA all this time and apologize for not being able to have all 12 members together until the end.

The agency and LOONA will go back to their roots and work hard to ensure that an incident like this never happens again, no matter what happens in the future. LOONA members didn’t just work for their personal growth. They also know what the fans gave them that allowed them to get to where they are now, so they didn’t do anything to get LOONA in trouble.

They will continue to the end and reward fans for the love and support they have shown LOONA.

In addition, the company and LOONA members will act with respect and gratitude towards all of our employees. The agency will do everything possible to correspond, taking into account the sacrifice and dedication of our staff.

We once again bow our heads in apologizing to the team involved and fans for causing trouble with this incident“, Blockberry Creative wrote.
