Prince Harry, son of the late Princess Diana of Wales, has made some statements about his wife, actress Meghan Markle, that have shocked more than one, as they deal with very personal and above all, delicate issues.
Through the documentary “The Me You Can’t See”, produced by Prince Harry and Oprah Winfrey, the son of the now King Charles III of the United Kingdom assured that when his wife, the American actress Meghan Markle, was six months into her first pregnancy, she had confessed to him that she had thought about taking her own life.
These revelations would coincide with the statements made by Markle herself in the controversial interview with Winfrey about her “deep depression”.
“What stopped her from doing it was (thinking about) how unfair it would have been for me, after everything that happened with my mom, and putting myself in the position of losing another woman in my life, with a baby inside, our baby (…
). She was completely healthy, but in the quiet of the night, those thoughts would wake her up.
“.
The Duke of Sussex went on to talk about the unfortunate moment revealing the following:
“In some ways, I’m ashamed of the way I handled the situation (…). Because of the system we were in and the responsibilities we had, what we did was hug and then we had to get dressed, get into a convoy escorted by the police and get to the charity event at the Royal Albert Hall.
Then we had to walk out in front of a wall of cameras and pretend everything was fine.
The moment the lights went out, Meghan started crying”.
These statements continue to increase the conflict that Prince Harry has with the royal family, since it is well known that at the moment the son of Lady Di and Charles III is completely detached from his family.
.
Harry also assured that the only reason that prevented his partner from deciding to commit suicide was the thought of him, who had already lost his mother, Princess Diana.
