The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry and The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, have been awarded with a human rights recognition reward, that comes from their complaints against racism in the British Royal Family, another reason for King Charles III to be more distant from his son with late Princess Diana of Wales.
Harry and Meghan are going to be awarded the next December 6 in the city of New York, United States, with the Robert F. Kennedy award for Human Rights. This reward will affect, with no doubt, the already complicated relationship between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the British Royal Family, specially with the King Charles III.
Let’s remember that in an interview with Oprah Winfrey, the couple made a complaint about how alive was racism in the center of the British Royal Family. In this interview Meghan told Oprah how discriminatory the treatment she received by the Windsor was for the color of her skin, one of the key reasons she moved to California with Prince Harry.
“Just a few will be brave enough to dispute their family members about the structure of power they have, and this is what Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have done.
They went to the oldest United Kingdom institution and told them what they were doing was wrong.
Something heroic that has created a gap”, said Gustavo Egusquiza.
This recognition won’t make King Charles III happy, since he was looking forward to cease all of the Meghan and Harry accusations, but now they are only to gain more news about it.
