BTS‘ Jungkook set a milestone with his live performance at Qatar 2022, becoming the first Korean artist to lead the opening of the FIFA World Cup. The idol performed in front of 60,000 people at Al Bayt Stadium and thousands who followed the opening event on television and live stream.
After completing the musical presentation of the show without problems, the 25-year-old idol went live on the Weverse platform, where in addition to sharing details of his meeting with the South Korean team, JK revealed his feelings about his performance for the most important football event at international level.

The South Korean artist began the live by confessing the nervousness that accompanied him and went into detail about learning the choreography and how he managed to adapt to the time difference by sleeping on the way to Qatar.

“I learned the dance after coming here and I recorded the chorus of the last part the day before. I watched the rest on video and then added some of my own flavor“, he explained.
The BTS member assured that he rehearsed every night after taking a bath “just imagining the concert“. However, the idol confessed that he did not feel entirely satisfied with his performance.
“I don’t think I can say I’m completely satisfied“, he argued.
“But I think it’s a good thing that I was able to enjoy it and it all worked out“, he concluded.
