Shakira has given up participating in the opening ceremony of the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup, after hundreds of human rights organizations and thousands of users criticized her attendance due to the deplorable human rights that exist in the Arab country.
The Colombian singer has decided not to participate in the opening of the World Cup, despite the fact that, just days ago, she would have confirmed her presence in the show that would kick off this new edition of the World Cup.
