The winner of the next Miss Universe competition will take home a brand new crown.
When we talk about Miss Universe, the first things that come to our minds are glamour, beauty and expensive things. And Anne Jakrajutatip, actual owner of the contest, wants it to keep being like that.
Anne, an important business woman and CEO of JKN Global Group Public Company Limited, bought the contest on October of 2022, by the significant amount of 20 millions dollars.
One of her first decisions as the new owner of the contest, was to change the crown.

In a conference during the Miss Universe Extravaganza Event, Anne told the press that the new crown will have blue diamonds and is being made by the jewerly brand Mouawad. She did not say anything about the cost, but it’s estimated to cost 5 millions dollars.
During the years, the most expensive crowns has been ownned by:
- Miss Universe 2014, Paulina Vega (300.000$)
- Miss Universe 1952, Armi Kuusela (500.000$)
- Miss Universe 2015, Pia Alonso Wurtzbach (300.000$)
- Miss Universe 2008, Dayana Mendoza (120.000$)
Anne expressed her thoughts about the contest and said: “We are not only looking to continue with legacy of giving a platform for appasionate people from different origins and experiences, cultures or traditions, but also evolve the brand for the next generations“.
