BTS’ Jungkook under fire after agreeing to work with FIFA World Cup Qatar

Through social networks, all the artists who will be performing at the opening ceremony of the Qatar 2022 World Cup are being canceled. It all started when Dua Lipa revealed that she refused to perform at the opening show after discovering that the country does not respect the human rights of different communities.

“There is a lot of speculation that I will be performing at the opening ceremony of the World Cup in Qatar. I will not be performing and nor have I ever been involved in any negotiation to perform. I look forward to visiting Qatar when it has fulfilled all the human rights pledges it made when it won the right to host the World Cup.”

After revealing what she was feeling, all the acts that were already confirmed to perform began to receive mixed reviews on social networks regarding the situation that is occurring in the Arab country, and is that when it was chosen as the venue, they promised to respect the human rights of the attendees.

But now that everything is almost ready for the World Cup, they revealed a series of bans, among which is the complete prohibition of homosexuals, even the ambassador of the country for the World Cup, called the community “aberrations”, yet several artists continued with their agenda to perform.

Among them is Jungkook of BTS, who will head back to the country this November 15th in a private jet to participate in the opening ceremony. Despite this, many fans support the opportunity given to the idol, but other communities are canceling him for supporting the World Cup and not doing the same as Dua Lipa.
