BLACKPINK makes a surprise appearance in The Simpsons

One of the most long and famous american animated series has shown its love for the K-Pop group sensation BLACKPINK.

In the 7th episode of the 34th season of The Simpsons, aired on November 13th, Lovesick Girls, one of the most popular songs from the group’s first album (The Album) was played on Homer’s car meanwhile he was driving with Lisa.

The scene shows Duffman, Lisa and Homer having a conversation about the second favorite music genre of Lisa, which Homer, being nervous, starts trying to guess which one it is: “Salsa, old-school rap, traffic on the twos…”. Which Lisa response is: “I like K-Pop dad“. “Oh, of course i knew that, it’s fun to pretend you are clueless“, says Homer. And then they all start to dance to the rythmn of Lovesick Girls by BLACKPINK.

The scene went viral on Twitter and all of the BLINKS couldn’t hold their excitement.

Even the famous K-Pop group did not know about this, we can talk because of the reaction of Jisoo, who posted a picture of the clip on her Instagram asking if it was real.

Let’s remember that The Simpsons are always trying to reach famous singers to appear in their episodes, like they did in the past with artist like Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Michael Jackson, Aerosmith, Britney Spears and the most recent, Billie Eilish.
