BTS contributes to the Asian community as one of its representatives, which is a role that carries a lot of responsibility. In his recent interview with Rolling Stone, RM shared with Pharrell Williams his feelings regarding the pressure of responsibility.
“As a team, we’ve been to the UN and we’ve also met President Biden. We never thought these things (would happen), but I think we naturally became one of the representatives of the Asian community“, RM said.
“I always think to myself, ‘Am I that good? Do I deserve all the responsibilities?
‘ And I’m really doubting myself. I’ve heard that you do a lot of things for the community.
So I wonder how you deal with all the responsibilities to be good and moral“, adedd the idol.

“I mean, the (charitable) work that I do, there’s always a circumstance. Either I’d say something dumb and then I’d regret it, or there’s been a time when I have a record that affected a certain part of a demographic.
So it got me thinking on things differently.

CThen other times, I also do it because of what you just said“, he replied Pharrell.

“I hope all my confusion and these stupid thoughts help my life get better, [and I can] be a better adult for the fans“, RM concluded.
