Yesterday, November 1st, a new picture of Johnny Depp surfaced on the internet, where we can see him characterized as Louis XV, whom he’ll play in the upcoming movie, “Jeanne du Barry”, which has been confirmed to be a French historic biographic film. This movie will also officially mark the actor’s return to Hollywood after a long absence due to the domestic violence accusations made by the actress Amber Heard, his ex-wife. The legal conflict and the trial were the biggest topic on social media for several weeks.
In the picture, that was shared by the French distributor Wild Bunch International, we can see Depp, who will play the protagonist role, looking straight at the camera, with some white make up and red blush on his cheeks, holding a cane, or a walking stick, and with the clothes that most characterize the historical figure he plays, Louis XV, from France.
“Jeanne du Barry” will be directed by the other protagonist, Maïwenn, and according to the synopsis, this is what the movie will be about:
