Several Spanish media have been in charge of spreading the news that Montserrat Bernabéu, the soccer player’s mother, thinks that the young woman is “polite” and “affectionate”
But Bernabéu is not only that she thinks so, she told Shakira that her son’s current girlfriend is a good woman, according to paparazzi Jordi Martin, who closely follows the former couple’s life.
“Pique’s mother defended her son’s girlfriend, said she was an educated and affectionate girl, and things got tense,” he said.
Martin recounted that Shakira and her ex-mother-in-law met at a baseball game in Milan, where Pique was also present.
The meeting was cordial, both greeted each other and had a brief conversation, where Bernabeu let her know what he believed about Clara Chia, and even assured her that she should not fear for the stability of her children.
