As recently announced, all of the seven members of the K-Pop sensation BTS will enroll in the military service, when their determined times come.
HYBE, record label and managers of the boy group shared a statement via social media in the morning of the 17th of October. The company stated that all the members have already started planning their service with the militia of South Korea, which is obligatory for all the men born in the country.
In the document they shared, they also mentioned that the oldest member, Jin, who is 29 years old at the moment, and on the verge to turn 30 on December, will be the first one to enroll in the military service, as soon as he finishes the schedule he already has planned for his solo activities, including a presentation for his solo single in collaboration with legendary British band, Coldplay. So, we can expect the idol to leave for the military at the end of November.
The other six members of BTS are also planned to be sent to the military service, the second in line will be Suga, or as the fans call him, Yoongi, for his birthname. He is currently also 29 years old, so he will most likely be the second to enroll in the service, which should be soon, as there are no solo projects announced for him. There are no further details for the rest of the members, though it’s been confirmed that the group will re-unite in 2025, when they will make an official comeback will all the members.
The two youngest members Jungkook and Taehyung are both working on solo projects, as rumored, though it’s not been announced yet. With that information we can infer that they will most likely spend half a year promoting and will enroll in the military service before 2023 ends.
Will you be waiting for them to make their comeback in 3 years?
