It was just announced that the seven members of BTS – Jin, Suga, RM, Jimin, Jungkook, V and J-Hope – would be parting ways to enroll in the military service, mandatory in South Korea.
The company BigHit, managers and owners of the most profitable boy band of the moment, BTS, released a statement on the morning of the 17th of October, announcing the sad news that the followers were already suspecting, and nervously awaiting.
In the document shared via social media, BigHit clarifies that Jin will be the first of the seven to fulfill his duties with the national army, putting an end to all the hopes of the fans that spent months speculating whether or not the government was going to allow the BTS members to skip the military service.
2 days before the announcement, on the 15th of October, BTS offered a free concert in Busan to support the city on a bid to host the 2030 World Expo. There on the concert, in the final speech before the last song and the goodbyes, Jin announced the awaited news of his solo project.

“I got the opportunity to work with someone I like” – BTS’ Jin before exiting the stage at the “Yet To Come In Busan” concert.
So, even though no further details were shared, we can expect more music from the member of BTS before October ends. He will be releasing a song, an album has not been confirmed yet, though it’s very likely that the record label will have him release an album.
