With the passing of the Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom, many media outlets have taken the time to shine a light on past occurrences of the royal family, and there have been many rumors and theories in the last couple decades. One of the most controversial ones is about Prince Harry and who could be his real father, James Hewitt.
James Hewitt was one of the most important people in the life of Princess Diana of Wales. He was a horse-riding teacher and a soldier of the army as well, who caught her heart like few could.
This man, whose alikeness to Prince Harry has n doubt, shared a love relationship with Lady Di for 5 years, between 1986 and 1991. Andrew Norton, the official biographer of the Princess Diana, mentioned that the love encounters between the both would take place at Hewitt’s mother house, and Diana would use “Julia” as an alias try to be unnoticeable.
Norton also claimed that, in the case that she would have never married Prince Charles, Hewitt would have probably been the man that Diana would build her life with.
Interestingly enough, Prince Harry has a huge physical resemblance to James Hewitt, which led to many rumors about him being parent and son, the public, the newsletters, and the Royal Family all had a say about the situation.
However, Hewitt himself dismantled the arguments, the theories and all the buzz when he made this statement:
“I can understand everyone’s excitement, but Harry was already walking when I started my relationship with Diana”, he said in 2002, when the controversy was at it’s highest.
Even given that, there are still many people who still believe that he is the biological father, for the resemblance is simply uncanny.
