After private photos of BALCKPINK‘s Jennie with BTS‘ Taehyung were exposed via Twitter and Telegram, the hacker behind the leaks, user Gurumiharibo, has decided to take certain measures.
At the end of September, BTS’ agency BIGHIT shared a statement regarding the violation of artists’ rights. Although many believed that it was V‘s leaks, the hacker claimed to have received nothing from the agency.
Later in early October, Jennie’s agency YG Entertainment released a statement, apparently taking legal action against the person who leaked the artists’ personal photos. Now Gurumi has updated his situation regarding a possible legal problem in his Telegram group.

In the message he mentioned details such as that he was not in jail and that none of the agencies or the police have contacted him. He stated that YG is investigating the leak and that many media outlets believe in the truth of the photos.
The user explained that they would not post any more photos of the idols until the police investigation is over, adding that the couple’s last update was alleged during the recent Video Music Awards 2022. Also, not everyone can be sued, only people who defame to the couple in South Korea.
