J Balvin lied to us, was the fight with Residente Fake?

During his presentation in the city of Rio de Janeiro, J Balvin surprised more than one with his reaction, when in the middle of the show, one of the spectators handed him a cap with the logo of Residente, with whom he had a controversial virtual confrontation in 2021.

To the astonishment of those present, J Balvin, without hesitation, put the cap on his head. In the video circulating on social networks, the urban music singer can only be heard saying “it takes a lot of love and a lot of affection” before continuing with his presentation.

However, after going around the stage, he took off his cap and threw it to the audience.

As expected, this reaction divided the comments, as some applaud J Balvin’s attitude considering that it is a way to make peace with Residente, while others think that the statement he made while wearing the cap, was just a way to make fun of the Puerto Rican.

It is worth remembering that the artists starred in a controversial controversy in 2021, when René Pérez recorded a video in which he criticized for wanting to boycott the Latin Grammy Awards, just because that year he had not received the nominations he expected, according to Residente, who compared J Balvin’s music to a hot dog cart.
