VICTON to continue with 5 members after Heochan was caught drunk driving

Last Thursday, September 22nd, it was revealed that VICTON‘s Heochan, formed in 2016 by IST Entertainment, known as Plan A Entertainment, was caught driving under the influence of alcohol on September 20th.

The agency in charge of the boy group announced that the member’s activities will be temporarily stopped, because he was caught by policemen returning home drunk after a meeting with acquaintances. The company reported:

“After the investigation, he should be subject to cancellation of his license… Currently, Heochan has deep regrets and remorse for making a mistake that he never should have made. He also can’t help but feel sorry for the fans and many officials for causing this problem.

In addition, he announced that the idol will temporarily suspend his group and individual activities, therefore VICTON will continue as a group with 5 members, counting only Seung Sik, Sejun, Hanse, Byeongchan and Subin, since Seungwoo is serving his military service.

Heochan for his part used social media to apologize to his fans, his agency and his fellow group members for his actions in a letter.

“I am sorry for the pain and disappointment that I caused you because of this incident, and I deeply regret it. I will bear in mind all the accusations and blame for this irreversible behavior and live with deep reflection to become a person who is not ashamed of myself in the future“.
