Ray J decided to speak after being involved in matters about Kim Kardashian and the sextape recorded by them when they were a couple. The rapper accused the businesswoman and her mother, Kris Jenner, of having created the “biggest lie in entertainment history” by leaking the sextape made by the couple in the 2000s.
In an interview, the rapper assured that he never had access to the videos despite stating that the contract signed by him and Kim Kardashian, who were a couple at the time, gave him access to three tapes with intimate content.
Ray J claimed on IG Live that Kris Jenner made him and Kim Kardashian shoot three sex tapes so that she could choose the best one:

“It was never a leak. It’s always been an agreement and a partnership between Kris Jenner, Kim and myself, and we’ve always had an agreement from the beginning“.
“I never had any in my possession in our entire relationship. I never had a single video in my house, she had everything of hers in her house.
She always had all the tapes in a shoebox under her bed“.

The former couple would have recorded the videos when they were 21 years old, in 2002. The images, however, were only leaked five years later, in 2007. The publication of one of the three videos, however, made them both dominate the media spotlight.

“I thought about suicide because when you know something is real and it’s true and you’re watching a whole family build an empire out of a lie they created, it’s heartbreaking and disrespectful to all the artists who were honest and true to their lives“.
