BLACKPINK announce release of new single ‘Shut Down’

After breaking numerous records and making history on the world’s top music charts with “PINK VENOM“, BLACKPINK announced this Tuesday afternoon, September 6th, the release of the single “Shut Down“. The theme will be in charge of continuing the promotion of the album “BORN PINK“.

Jisoo, Lisa, Rosé, and Jennie are about to release the group’s highly anticipated second studio album, “BORN PINK,” and the album’s title track has just been announced. “Shut Down” arrives next Friday, September 16th, along with the new project.

It should be noted that the girls have already announced the official dates of their new world tour, titled “BORN PINK WORLD TOUR“. A total of 35 dates have been announced around the world, with a premiere scheduled for October 15th, 2022, in Seoul, the capital of South Korea.

The band’s new tour will continue through North America, Asia, Oceania and Europe. For fans in South America, shows on the continent are yet to be confirmed.

However, in the tour announcement, they left it open that new dates would be announced soon.

After the iconic single release “PINK VENOM”, BLACKPINK is preparing to release their new album, and on Monday morning, September 5th, the girls released the first promotional photos of the project.
